The boat harbor at Marina del Rey can accommodate thousands of small boats and includes 19 marinas, earning it a place among the largest of man-made harbors located in the United States. Along with the harbor, Marina del Rey is also home to the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center, the Burton W. Chace Park, the Ballona Wetlands and the Villa Marina marketplace. Travelers who visit Los Angeles between June and August can attend the seasonal concert series hosted at the Burton W. Chace Park. Performances are usually held twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays.
